MWCC has won the Award of Excellence for the Most Inspiring Institution at the V edition of the Capital Radio Awards.

The arguments of the jury have been: Madrid World Capital, a project that dates back to 2016, although it was not until March 4, 2020 when it acquired the appearance of an Association. It is in charge of materializing urban mobility projects, as well as promoting the international exhibition of Madrid as a benchmark in engineering, construction and architecture.

This project promoted by the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid is “the very clear example of public-private collaboration”. Generally, there is a tendency to think that this type of collaboration occurs only between private companies and public institutions.

With the collaboration of the two Madrid public administrations, in just two years it has become a national and international benchmark. “Cities like New York, Singapore or Malaga have focused on what we do.”

The numbers speak for themselves. In this short period of time, marked by the pandemic, they have gone from 23 entities to 160 public and private. “It’s a success story”.
