MWCC has been present at the beginning of the Madrid Architecture Week in its 18th edition and with Italy as the guest country. For 10 days, Madrid residents, visitors and architecture lovers will be able to enjoy the nearly 140 activities including exhibitions, events and conferences, visits to buildings, urban itineraries and children’s activities, among others, organized by the Fundación Arquitectura in collaboration with the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), the Madrid City Council, the Community of Madrid, the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture of Madrid. The main objective of the Week is to bring architecture closer to society and value the architectural heritage, in addition to turning the city of Madrid into the capital of architecture for a few days. In this edition, Italy has a prominent presence, since we join the Sabatini Year promoted by the Madrid City Council to commemorate the 300 years of the birth of this architect and engineer, fundamental to understanding the city of Madrid.
