MWCC, given the importance that cities are acquiring as centers of population attraction, has prepared a ranking on quality of life based on data from NUMBEO, the largest collaborative database on countries and cities worldwide.

In the case of Spain, the urban population accounts for 81% of the total (38.5 million), above the average for the countries of the European Union, which stands at 75%.

Cities act as centers of attraction for the young and working population.

Among the most common indicators, those that value economic aspects, transport and mobility infrastructures, the knowledge society, average income, accessibility to housing, climate, health or quality of life stand out.

MWCC has analyzed 62 Spanish cities for its ranking, corresponding to 50 provincial capitals, the two autonomous cities and another ten municipalities selected for their relevance or differential factor.
