MWCC has been awarded in the TECH & PROGRAMMATIC SKILLS AWARDS, in its V Edition. The awards highlight the talent and innovation of companies and professionals. The awards were born in 2019 as an event that sought to highlight the human talent behind technology. Year after year, prominent members of politics, cinema and advertising have attended.

MWCC has been the winner in the UrbanTech category through its “Innovation Lab” project. The purpose of the innovation laboratory made up of the Community of Madrid, MWCC and the Metrópoli Foundation is to establish the channels of public-private cooperation to promote actions that improve competitiveness. To achieve these objectives, three agreements have been established. The first of them is based on the transfer of knowledge on urban planning and sustainability through collaborative and participation environments such as seminars, conferences or high-level events. The second will focus on the creation of international and business networks to promote it as a reference in our region. The last point will be focused on promoting Madrid Metropolis 2040, in which the Community actively participates, based on the dialogue and cooperation of the different public administrations with private sector entities, as a tool to promote the creation of this research center that It will be able to draw on the knowledge provided by its members.
