Zardoya Otis has signed an adhesion agreement with the Madrid World Capital Association of Construction, Engineering and Architecture. This ambitious project had its origin in 2016, but it has known its definitive thrust in 2020, when the entities and companies interested in its development were formed in association with the aim of improving the quality of life of citizens through the design and development of infrastructures.

The entity’s actions are developed in five working groups: training, professional training and innovation; promotion and dissemination; market development and financing; sustainability; legal protection. Zardoya Otis will participate in all of them through specialized managers in each of the areas.

Madrid is one of the world’s leading exponents of engineering, construction and architecture, as well as the development of urban mobility projects. For this reason, the Association is the sum of important companies, entities from Madrid and the rest of Spain that have joined forces to work on the international positioning of the capital and our country as a world reference in three main areas: engineering, construction and architecture; the formative leadership of the Madrid and Spanish Universities and Business Schools, and in the positioning of Madrid and Spain as a hub for innovation, sustainability and responsibility.

The final objective is to expose new city models to globalized society, and that they fall among business, social and educational managers, in order to develop urban models, with Madrid as a benchmark because it is a city where large companies are located, because it is an engine economic and informative and because of the levels of quality of life that it reaches despite being a net recipient of citizens. Qualities compatible with turning Madrid into the capital of sustainable, global, efficient, intelligent, healthy and accessible mobility.

The Association has among its collaborators and associates prominent technology, energy, construction, consulting companies, universities, public companies and national, regional and local entities.
