About Envac
Envac is the world’s leading company in the automated waste collection industry. It provides environmentally friendly systems for efficient waste recovery and helps create smarter and more sustainable cities.
The immediate effects for cities that switch from manual collection to the Envac system are the reduction of heavy traffic and emissions, which can be up to 90%. In addition, the street environment becomes quieter and the waste disposal process cleaner and safer for the user.
Envac developed and launched the pneumatic system in the early 1960s, and today it is used throughout the world in urban centers, residential areas, hospitals, and airports. For the new generations, the use of Envac technology will be commonplace: waste is removed from the streets and transported through a network of underground pipes that become part of the urban infrastructure, such as electricity, water and sewage.
They are also equipped with Artificial Intelligence, which allows them to optimize their operations and energy consumption.
Envac AB, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, has 35 offices in 20 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, and is a 100% subsidiary of the Swedish group Stena Adactum AB.
