The Webinar will take place on June 24, 2021, at 4:00 p.m.

On June 24, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., the International Safe and Sustainable Mobility Exhibition, TRAFIC, will analyze the challenges of mobility in Spain from the point of view of innovation and collaboration. This is the third of the webinars scheduled during the months prior to the celebration of the 17th edition of the event, in collaboration with its innovation partner, Connected Mobility Hub, aimed at giving visibility to the objectives set by the Ministry of Transport Mobility and the Urban Agenda, and the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, in terms of safe, sustainable and connected mobility. TRAFIC, organized by IFEMA MADRID, will be held in a hybrid format, at its Fairgrounds, from November 2 to 4, 2021.

In this meeting, the way to accelerate the transition to a digital and intelligent infrastructure to improve mobility security will be discussed. Following the presentation of TRAFIC by the Director of IFEMA Movilidad, David Moneo, and the Introduction of the Challenge, by Sergio Díez, Director of the Connected Mobility Hub, the participation of Rosario Cornejo, Technical Director of the General Directorate of Roads of MITMA; Carlos Fuentes, Urban Mobility Spain Manager of Abertis Mobility Services; Lola Ortiz, General Director of Mobility Infrastructures of the Madrid City Council; David Garcia Nuñez, President of MWCC, and Grupo ETRA Antonio Marqués, Director of Technology and Innovation of Grupo ETRA. The Conference will be moderated by Jaime Huerta Secretary General of ITS.
The conference will focus on promoting the use of technology in infrastructures, to improve mobility safety (design, maintenance, connectivity, …). Among other aspects, it will be about design and maintenance, using technology both before construction and in maintenance, with lower costs, more durability, less maintenance and more safety.
Digitization, aimed at equipping media infrastructures to increase mobility security, will also be the object of analysis. And the automation of mobility will be another key, understood as a way to increase safety in movement and to pre-design infrastructures with more precision.
