The Madrid Capital of Engineering, Construction and Architecture Association and Galsinma have signed an agreement to promote the implementation of innovative, sustainable and urban development projects in the different municipalities of the Sierra Norte de Madrid.

Madrid World Capital of Engineering, Construction and Architecture was born with the vocation, among other objectives, of promoting the development of the different municipalities that make up the peri-urban space of Madrid. As a result of this agreement, the 42 municipalities and 5 associations associated with Galsinma, will be able to implement different urban innovation projects, digitization actions by administrations, improvement of transport models, empowerment of digital communication nodes, as well as the development of sustainability projects derived from the collection of urban solid waste and energy efficiency of facilities and homes.

This agreement is the beginning of future accessions of the rest of the municipalities that make up the Community of Madrid and in which projects that derive from the activity of the different working groups of the Association may be developed.
