The International University of La Rioja (UNIR) will actively collaborate with MWCC in the development of the actions, plans and programs established to position Madrid as one of the main world exponents in urban solutions, as well as in the projects that, from the university, move into the business world.

UNIR’s collaboration with Madrid Capital Mundial (MWCC) will focus mainly on the areas of support for training on innovation in architecture and construction, application of new methodologies in construction processes, urban ecology, green infrastructure and sustainability in cities.

UNIR consolidates its leadership position as an online university in those national and international rankings that select the best higher education centers. It stands out for its 100% virtual methodology, its firm commitment to innovation, the quality of its teacher training and its promotion of the professional development of its graduates.

UNIR has recently joined the university elite after gaining access to The Higher Education (THE) ranking, one of the three most recognized in the world, thanks to its level of research, with more than 1,000 articles published in the last 5 years in Scopus . It stands out for its international perspective, which places it in the 12th position of all Spanish universities and the 1st online in this factor. In addition, it is among the 9 classified Spanish private universities, in eighth position out of 40 possible ones.
