The Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos has presented the 8th edition of the Semana de la Ingeniería de Caminos in Madrid. Under the slogan ‘We promote sustainability’, SICMA 2025 will have an exhibition space open to the public from 23 to 30 May in Plaza de Callao.

 This biannual event has established itself as an activity of great interest to disseminate the relevant contribution of civil engineering to economic, urban and social development.

Through immersive experiences, virtual reality, simulators and models, the advances and relevance of road engineering to preserve sustainability in the field of infrastructures, mobility, transport, dams, ports, roads, energy, structures and innovative materials are shown.

The programme includes guided tours of key infrastructures, control centres and construction sites. There will also be entertainment activities as well as workshops aimed especially at students and young people.

Admission to all activities is free thanks to the support of 90 companies, institutions, associations and universities that collaborate to make SICMA a unique experience.
