MWCC supports the HANDS OF ARCHITECTURE exhibition
MWCC, on the occasion of International Architecture Day, supported the celebration in the Retiro Park and in collaboration with the Madrid City Council, the traveling photography exhibition HANDS OF ARCHITECTURE.
After Madrid, Barcelona, Miami, Milan, Mallorca and Malaga, this exhibition (by the Asturian artist Juan Carlos Vega and curated by the photography magazine FEARLESS® and its director Katalina Mikhailova) is democratized and can be visited for free until the 22nd of October.
More than 100 figures from architecture or design make up this collection of photographs that will be exhibited at the end of November at COSENTINO CITY LONDON.
The objective of the exhibition is to honor the figure of the main Spanish architects of the generations between 1937 (date of birth of Rafael Moneo) and 1970 (date of birth of Joaquín Torres) as well as young figures in the sector.
Of the national architects, it is worth highlighting the participation of Alberto Campo Baeza, Carlos Lamela, Carlos Rubio Carvajal, Eva Cuesta (ACERTA), Fran Silvestre, Enrique Lopez-Granados (Caledonian), Fuensanta Nieto, Benedetta Tagliabue, Emilio Tuñón, Ignacio Vicens, Joaquín Torres, Paloma Sobrini, Rafael de La-Hoz, Rafael Moneo, Teresa Sapey, Tristán López-Chicheri, Sara Folch or Ana Bofill.
Also figures of interior design and decoration such as Pascua Ortega, Lorenzo Castillo, Tomás Alía, Lázaro Rosa-Violán, or figures of construction such as the Castellano brothers from Archarray. Likewise, young architects such as María Villalón, Raúl Almenara, Juan Bengoa have posed for this traveling and international exhibition.
Brands in the sector are committed to the project
For this occasion, MANOS DE LA ARQUITECTURA, in addition to having the patronage and support of GRUPO COSENTINO since its birth, also has the support of the construction company PAMA, the leading cement and design company CEMENT DESIG, the real estate developer and construction company premium CALEDONIAN and the project management company ACERTA.
