MWCC participates in the presentation of Sandbox Madrid
MWCC participated in the official presentation of Sandbox Madrid, a new initiative promoted by the Madrid City Council to foster innovation in controlled and secure environments within the city.
Sandbox Madrid was created with the aim of accelerating innovation in a responsible manner, allowing innovative projects to be tested within a regulated framework that guarantees legal certainty and the protection of citizens. The initiative seeks to promote technological and organizational solutions that improve quality of life, while strengthening Madrid's position as an international benchmark for economic growth, attracting talent, and generating skilled employment.
MWCC highly values this initiative, which is aligned with the organization's commitment to promoting public-private collaboration, urban transformation, and the development of a solid and competitive innovative ecosystem.
In this context, MWCC works actively through its Innovation Lab (InnoLab), a space designed as a platform for experimentation, connection, and acceleration of strategic projects for the city. InnoLab acts as a meeting point for startups, corporations, institutions, and specialized talent, facilitating the design and validation of solutions in key areas such as sustainability, mobility, digitization, and new city models.
Through InnoLab, MWCC, together with the Community of Madrid and the Metrópoli Foundation, promotes co-creation dynamics, urban pilots, and support programs that enable ideas to be transformed into viable projects with real impact, thus strengthening Madrid's ability to anticipate the urban and economic challenges of the future.
MWCC's presence in this Sandbox reinforces its role as a strategic platform for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the city, consolidating its commitment to initiatives that project Madrid as a global capital of opportunities.
