MWCC participates in the IECA 2025 Forum

MWCC participated in a new edition of the IECA 2025 Forum, ‘Low-carbon materials in green procurement and green financing,’ one of the leading events in the field of sustainability, innovation, and construction materials.

During the conference, MWCC participated in the round table discussion ‘The role of materials in green public procurement’, moderated by Aniceto Zaragoza, Secretary General of IECA. Representing MWCC was Ángel Zarabozo, Vice-President of the organisation, who shared his vision on how public-private partnerships can drive innovation and sustainability in urban infrastructure.

The round table also featured the participation of Antonio Muruais, Deputy Director General of Sustainability and Innovation at the Directorate General of Roads, Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility; Pablo Boix, Head of Construction and Quality Control at the Roads Department, Valencia Provincial Council; and Renata D'Andrea, Technical Manager of Product Certification.

The exchange of perspectives between representatives from the public sector, industry and certification highlighted the need to move towards more responsible and efficient construction models that are aligned with sustainable development goals.

With its participation in the IECA 2025 Forum, MWCC reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability and the transformation of the urban environment, contributing to consolidating Madrid as an international benchmark in sustainable construction and mobility.
