MWCC is once again collaborating in the development of TECMA 2026, the largest urban planning fair in our country. The International Urban Planning and Environment Fair, TECMA 2026, organized by IFEMA MADRID, will be held from June 9 to 11, 2026, and is establishing itself as the main meeting point for urban planning and the environment in Spain and southern Europe.

Five months before the event, TECMA 2026 confirms the strong dynamism of the sector and its appeal as a business platform, exceeding the occupancy levels recorded in the 2024 edition by more than 13%, with an estimated 120 participating companies. These figures consolidate the fair as a strategic showcase for the presentation of innovative solutions, the generation of business opportunities, and direct contact with public officials and decision-makers in the urban sphere.

In this context, the next edition in 2026 presents an exhibition and content proposal that is particularly aligned with the current and future challenges of urban environments. TECMA will address key areas such as the circular economy, waste management, street cleaning, smart urban services, improvement of public spaces, and climate adaptation, all reinforced by digitalization, energy efficiency, and the promotion of new models of governance, always with a focus on offering practical and applicable innovation to municipal technical managers.

At the same time, the Madrid Cities Forum will expand its agenda and strengthen its position with the support of strategic sponsors, consolidating itself as one of the main pillars of the event and as a benchmark for debate, knowledge exchange, and trend analysis in the urban sphere.

In this way, TECMA has established itself as the largest commercial event, and in 2026 it will do so again by strengthening its ecosystem and building synergies with the International Recovery and Recycling Fair (SRR), the Global Mobility Call and, for the first time, SOCIOCARE, a new trade fair project focused on care and social welfare.

MWCC is once again the hub where the solutions that will shape the future of cities are being designed today.
