MWCC and the Metrópoli Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement with the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima (Peru) with the aim of promoting projects that promote territorial innovation, as well as urban formulas aimed at the balance between economic development, social balance, quality of life, the culture of the territory and environmental sustainability. MWCC and Fundación Metrópoli aim to promote the Supercity of Lima 2040, promoting projects in which a dialogue is established with other levels of the administration and with private sector entities, in order to have innovative instruments that allow

define a strategic vision with key initiatives and projects capable of promoting the metropolitan territory of Lima, which leads the development of Peru and hosts a high percentage of the country’s population and economic activity, towards a new stage of changes and transformations in a globalized, open context of competition and cooperation between cities and territories.

During the process, information, knowledge, experience and new methods for the sustainable design of Cities and Territories will be shared. This can occur directly or through joint projects, through internal information and knowledge exchange sessions, through interactions, seminars, conferences or international events. The general objective will be to accelerate innovation and development of the territory of jurisdiction of the Municipality of Lima and its regional environment.

This collaboration between the parties can include basic information about the territories, plans and projects underway, planning, urban design, architecture, and even the incubation of strategic projects of different scales in these areas.

With the signing of the collaboration agreement with the municipality of Lima, MWCC positions itself internationally as a collaborating entity in the design of urban, innovative, sustainable and collaborative projects.
