Madrid Capital Mundial (MWCC) has today obtained Madrid Excelente certification, a distinction awarded by the Community of Madrid that recognises organisations that stand out for their commitment to excellence, innovation, sustainability and social responsibility.
During the ceremony, the director general of Madrid Excelente, Elena Mantilla, presented the seal to the president of Madrid Capital Mundial, David Garcia.
This recognition is an endorsement of the work that MWCC is doing to position Madrid as an international benchmark in the field of urban solutions. Through strategic initiatives, high-impact projects and collaborations with public and private institutions, the organisation works to promote economic development, attract investment and raise the global profile of the city and the region.
Throughout 2024, the Community of Madrid has awarded its Madrid Excelente seal of quality to 42 new companies, the highest figure in nine years, with an increase of 62% compared to 2023 and 147% more than in 2022. Currently, 234 companies have this certificate after more than two decades of history.
In this regard, MWCC has demonstrated its ability to develop strategic projects that have a positive impact on society, promoting sustainability, digitalisation and the transformation of the sector.
Since its foundation, MWCC has promoted numerous initiatives to strengthen the region's business and professional ecosystem, promoting flagship projects, attracting talent and fostering connections between strategic sectors. Obtaining the Madrid Excelente seal is recognition of this work and reinforces MWCC's position as a key entity in the development of the city and the community.
With this milestone, MWCC continues to advance in its mission to make Madrid an epicentre of excellence, innovation and sustainable development.
