Madrid Capital Mundial joins the World Infrastructure Forum (WIF) as an institutional partner
Madrid World Capital (MWCC) and the World Infrastructure Forum (WIF) have established a framework for institutional collaboration in the context of the 2026 edition of the Forum, a high-level, non-profit international platform that brings together global leaders to rethink how infrastructure is conceived, financed, developed, and governed in the face of today's major challenges.
The World Infrastructure Forum, co-led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), the World Bank, and the University of Texas at Austin, will hold its 2026 edition in Madrid on October 28 and 29, positioning the city as a neutral and globally connected hub for international strategic dialogue on infrastructure transformation.
Under the slogan “Building a Viable, Sustainable & Resilient Future” and the approach “Reimagining Infrastructure in the Age of AI, Digital Transformation and Climate Change,” the WIF is consolidating its position as a benchmark for addressing challenges related to sustainability, resilience, technological innovation, and infrastructure governance.
Within this framework of collaboration, Madrid World Capital joins as a collaborating entity
institutional framework of the Forum, supporting its development and implementation, as well as its long-term vision.

Within the framework of this collaboration, MWCC will participate through in-kind contributions, institutional support, and the facilitation of strategic connections.
