MWCC as well as other entities promoted by the Madrid City Council join PlaNET Madrid 24, an event promoted by Madrid Network and the Community of Madrid. This is an applied innovation event for SMEs, family businesses and entrepreneurs to take advantage of the latest technologies in use for their growth and development.

PlaNET24 is an initiative of Madrid Network with the support of the cluster ecosystem of the Madrid City Council, innovation hubs and entrepreneurship centers of the Community of Madrid, co-financed by the Call for Liaison Entities of the Community of Madrid 2022, which In turn, it is co-financed by the European Union with European ERDF funds.

The event will be held in the month of May. It will feature leading national and international speakers, as well as exhibition spaces where technology in action for companies can be seen. It is focused on family businesses and SMEs, as well as the entire Innovation sector; to help businessmen, managers and entrepreneurs decide where to put the focus of the business and set their technological agenda.

Likewise, the Madrid ecosystem will make known all the knowledge and technological solutions that help us position ourselves in an increasingly turbulent and competitive market.

All of this in the heart of the capital, with more than 2,000 professionals, 900 companies, 50 exhibitors, 150 speakers, 25 clusters and innovation hubs, 20 professional associations and 30 Universities and Business Schools.

Around a central axis, 7 technological orbits will be developed: Artificial Intelligence; Big Data; Audiovisual Technology; Web 3.0; Digital and Connected Industry; Applied biosanitary technology; and Sustainability.

The entities promoted by the Madrid City Council that have expressed their support for PlaNET Madrid’24 are:

  • Madrid Capital FinTech (MAD FinTech), chaired by Salvador Molina;
  • Madrid World Capital (MWCC), chaired by David García Nuñez;
  • Innovation Center for Logistics and Transportation (CITET), chaired by Francisco Rodríguez.
  • Madrid Cybersecurity Cluster (CyberMadrid), chaired by Damián Ruiz;
  • Big Data Madrid Cluster, chaired by César Blanco;
  • MAD E-Health Cluster (MAD e-HEALTH), chaired by Carlos Díez Ruza.

In addition, other signatory entities are:

  • CITET – Innovation Cluster for Sustainable Merchandise Distribution;
  • PETEC – Professional Association of New Technologies Experts;
  • Network SOS (C1B3RWOMAN);
  • MOGY Foundation (Las Rozas Mobility Fair);
  • CityMotion.

The foundations are thus laid for a work group, always open and expanding, to collect synergies and visions from the rest of the actors in the ecosystem of innovation, entrepreneurship, knowledge, startups and family businesses that daily build the largest epicenter of innovation. of Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, one of the largest poles of traction between Europe and America.
